Late Victorian Mahogany Satinwood Banded Ladies Writing Table by Schoolbred. The brass galleries over 2 pairs of mahogany lined drawers with satinwood banded edges with internal stringing and having brass knob handles. Flanking a lift lid, again satineood banded and banded front, opening to pentray and letter divisions. The worn leather lined writing surface with strung and banded surround and moulded edge. The 3 conforming frieze drawers all bearing stamp of Jas. Schoolbred & Co. These flanked by satinwood panels above the line inlaid square tapered legs with brass square cap castors. The sides also banded.
