Late 19C Mahogany Carved Partners Kneehole Desk. The leather lined top having leaf carved edge. The three mahogany lined drawers to each side having brass ring drop handles. The long central drawers having foliate carved centers the flanking drawers having acorn and foliate carved scrolls. A beaded moulding runs around the whole of the lower edge. Each pedestal having cupboard doors with C scrolls topped by acorns and oak leaf branches trailing from the scrolls with a further floral branch trailing from the top central shell. Each door opening to 3 drawers with brass ring handles the reverse side the doors open to two shelves to one and a upright divide to the other one divide is missing. The sides of pedestals having beaded moulded frames. Each pedestals lower corner having a gadrooned edge over the leaf carved O.G. feet which are on hidden castors.
